Here is how to create a shortcut to shut down Windows.

It is convenient because you can shut down by double-clicking the created shortcut placed on your desktop or elsewhere.

How to create

1. Right-click on the desktop, and select New > Shortcut

2. The shortcut creation screen will appear, enter shutdown.exe -s -f -t 0 and click Next

3. Enter the shortcut name Shutdown and click Finish

4. Change the icon of the created shortcut

Right-click the created shortcut and select Properties

Click Change Icon...

Select the red square icon and click OK, then click OK again to close the properties window.

That’s it.

Double-clicking the created shortcut will shut down Windows.
