When Mom was sick and resting in bed, I asked my daughter (2 years old) about preparing dinner or the bath, saying, “Should we ask Mom to do this?” She replied, “No, because she’s sleeping!” and I realized that she was being considerate in her own childish way.

I’m glad she seems to be growing into someone who is considerate of others.
